Mrs. Kelly Hassler

Mrs. Kelly Hassler was born and raised in the Chicago area by two math teachers. She was a member of the band (flute) and competed in both swimming and dance team. After high school, she attended Wheaton College, IL and graduated with a bachelors in Business/Economics, and also met her now husband Bryan. Together they moved to Dallas in 2005 where she worked for Chase Bank and Silicon Valley Bank, before working on her teacher certification. She then taught math at a small charter school in south Dallas before having children. It was here that she realized just how much she loved teaching math and had to admit it to her parents. Bryan and Kelly moved to Leander in 2011 and have been raising their 4 boys here since. All of them attend Founders and she is excited and honored to be teaching at this wonderful school. When the Hassler family has free time, they usually try to escape to the mountains, especially in winter because they love skiing so much, although hiking and mountain biking comes in a close second in summer. Kelly also enjoys planning fun events, cats, eating Tex-mex or Italian food, spending time with friends, and participating in activities at their church.
