Mrs. Betsy Miller

Mrs. Miller was born and raised in Colorado. In high school, she was the marching band drum-line section leader and valedictorian of her senior class. She continued her education at the Colorado School of Mines where she met Mr. Miller (yes, the one that teaches calculus here at Founders) and graduated with honors with a BS in electrical engineering in 1997. She spent the next few years in the aerospace industry designing motherboards for satellites. Her next job was infinitely more challenging and rewarding. She became the homeschooling mother of four beautiful children for the next 17 years, teaching every subject from every grade. The older two graduated and are attending Texas Tech and Texas A&M, and the younger two are attending Founders in the upper school.
