Mr. JR Munoz is from Navasota, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school, and retired in 2020 with 24 years of faithful service. He has visited 23 different countries throughout his career with multiple deployments to the Middle East. To include one year in Baghdad, Iraq where he served as the international military education training team lead, and as a military advisor to the Government of Iraq for English language training.
Mr. Munoz’s last military service was at training command (school) where he served as the Executive Officer and Senior MIlitary Instructor. As a military instructor he taught courses in mine warfare to adult students.
He received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. He also earned a M.S. in Human Systems Integration from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
He has a daughter attending Founders. During his spare time he enjoys running, volleyball, and spending time with his family.
