Dr. Nika Setek

Dr. Setek grew up in Croatia, but she moved to Madrid, Spain as a college freshman to attend Saint Louis University. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in St. Louis and came to Austin to attend the University of Texas, where she completed her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and taught Spanish, Croatian, and a variety of literature courses. She taught at Founders for a year before staying at home with her baby daughter, but she is very excited to be back. She loves movies, cookbooks, hiking, and the ocean.
