Mr. Rochon, after nearly 29 years of active federal service, recently retired from the Army as a
Colonel and teaches Western Civilization III & IV. After graduating high school in Washington
State, he joined the military and after four years was honorably discharged as a Non-
Commissioned Officer. He then attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a
BA in American History. Immediately after graduating, he was commissioned as a Second
Lieutenant in the Infantry. During his military career, Mr. Rochon had six deployments and
moved his family 17 times. He taught Supply Chain Management and Ethical Leadership at
graduate school where he was academically promoted to Assistant Professor. He also has two
graduate degrees, one from Georgetown university with an MA in Public Policy and another
from the US Army War College with an MA in Security Studies. He resides in Lantana and has
five children, four grandchildren, and another grandchild who is on the way.
