Mark Powell

Biography

Mr. Powell teaches 9th grade Biology and Keyboarding, and he has also taught History of Science.  He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts and returned to school at the​ ​University of Texas in Arlington and studied Microbiology. He holds a lifetime teaching certificate in both​ ​Biology and Chemistry from the state of Texas. Mr. Powell enjoys spending as much time as he​ ​can in the mountains of Colorado and is an avid off-road enthusiast. He and his wife, Wendy,​ ​raised five children. Their three grandchildren attend Founder’s Classical Academy in Flower​ ​Mound.
