Daniel Bishop

Biography

Mr. Bishop teaches 6th grade Literature and 9th grade Composition at Founders. He grew up in the Nevada desert and attended high school in Denton, Texas, and graduated from the University of Dallas (B.A. English, '21). His interests include classical rhetoric and creative writing, as well as rock climbing and music. He serves as an ecclesiastical cantor and choir director, and shares a love for Byzantine chant and sacred arts with his wife, Anya, who is an avid painter and vocalist. They have two cats (named Nyx and Athena) and enjoy cooking and being outdoors.
