Romero Britto is a Brazilian artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art, and graffiti painting in his work, using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, dreams, and happiness.
Today we are going to draw animals using brightly colored patterns just like Romero Britto.
We will write our names on our papers
We will pick an animal to draw.
We will draw the animal large on our paper with pencils.
We will divide the background into 4 - 6 sections.
We will fill our animal with bright contrasting patterns using markers.
We will fill our background sections with markers.
We will trace our pencils lines with black sharpie pens.
We turn in our artwork to the folder.
If we finish early, we may free draw.
