A rainbow is an arch of colored light that is visible when the sun shines through the rain. Sunlight is white light that refracts into seven beautiful colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet (also known as purple).
Have you seen a real rainbow before? Where and when did you see a rainbow?
Today we are painting rainbows.
Supplies:
watercolor or tempera cake paint
watercolor or cardstock paper
pencils and erasers
crayons or oil pastels
