The Fundamentals of Restorative Practices training will focus on how to build strong & healthy relationships, resolve challenges, and build social capital from a unique paradigm within our classrooms and schools. Restorative concepts involve reflection and awareness of one's self and one's own practice, enabling participants an overview of how to begin and strengthen implementation of discipline-altering techniques ranging from restorative statements and questions to conversations and circles.
Participants will:
Examine the science of relationships and community
Learn restorative strategies for addressing conflict and repairing harm
Engage in a collaborative networking experience
