The workshop was organized under the Learning Center for Sustainable Community Resource Management, located in Nong Luang Subdistrict, Selaphum District, Roi Et Province. Its main objective was to develop local trainers who can serve as knowledge multipliers in the community. Participants learned about the principles and techniques of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) rearing, effective waste management through organic decomposition, and the utilization of BSF larvae as a source of sustainable protein for animal feed and organic fertilizer production.
The training combined theoretical lessons with hands-on practice, enabling participants to gain practical experience in BSF cultivation and management. Through this initiative, the project aims to strengthen community capacity, promote circular resource use, and encourage environmentally friendly livelihoods. This activity supports the university’s mission toward sustainable development and community empowerment.
