I need to leave campus for an emergency
When an emergency happens affecting your loved ones away from campus and you need to get there, there are resources at CNU that can help accommodate you with the things you'll be missing while you are away. Instead of having to take the time to reach out individually to each of your professors, or to assume you'll have to take the loss of whatever you miss while you are gone, contact Brian Larson, the Associate Dean of Students in the Dean of Students Office, to let him know there is an emergency and for about how long you think you'll be gone. With your permission, the office will then notify your professors and ask if they can provide flexibility for you during this time. This office may also be able to help provide documentation for you if there are other on-campus commitments you'll be missing while away. The Associate Dean of Students can be reached at 757-594-7160 or blarson@cnu.edu.
