The Pomperaug Regional Community Hall of Fame aims to recognize and honor distinguished Pomperaug community alumni and staff who have made significant contributions in their professions, communities, or to the school itself, and who exemplify the values of excellence, leadership, and service.

Nominees must be graduates of Pomperaug High School or a staff member who has worked a minimum of 10 years in the Pomperaug school community and has retired from education
Alumni must have graduated at least 10 years prior to the year of nomination
Retired staff members must have retired at least one year prior and can be any personnel who worked in the Pomperaug School Community in any or multiple capacities
Achievements in professional, athletic, artistic, civic, or community service fields will be considered

Each committee is responsible for reviewing nominations from their assigned decade and making recommendations to the Executive Board. Staff members who are nominated should be submitted for the decade they retired or last worked for Pomperaug community schools. Membership on the committee is a three year cycle and will be offered to all applicable stakeholders and assigned by the Executive Board. Members are permitted to reapply at the end of their term.

1986–1995
1996–2005
2006–2015 (nominations may begin in the spring of 2029)
2016–2025 (nominations may begin in the spring of 2032)
Membership:
1 Pomperaug staff liaison (non-voting, administrative support)
3–5 Alumni from the corresponding decade
Responsibilities:
Review all nominations from their assigned decade
Evaluate nominees based on merit, impact, and alignment with Hall of Fame criteria
Submit 3–4 recommended inductees to the Executive Board by June 1
The Pomperaug High School Hall of Fame is an honor. Members may be removed for behavior unbecoming to the values of thes school district and the Region 15 Portrait of a Learner. Removal would require a 4/5 vote of the Executive Board.

Responsible for overseeing the Hall of Fame program, approving final inductees, and organizing the induction ceremony. Membership will be offered to all applicable stakeholders and assigned by the Chair. Membership on the committee is a three year cycle. Members are allowed to reapply and all applications are reviewed and chosen by the current PHS Leadership Team.

Vote to approve final inductees
(1-2 per decade each year with a max of 10 in any induction class. There should be a 50/50 split between alumni and staff inductees each year.)
Oversee logistics for induction announcements and events including fundraisers and the induction banquet
Promote the Hall of Fame within the community
