In the road to ReDI there are 4 steps for a new student. The last step for the student is screening. Returning students are not screened. They received the teachers recommendation from the previous course.
The screening helps to check if the new candidates are motivated and meet a minimum level which is required for the course.
The screening is facilitated by ReDI. We gather all candidates and multiple teachers for 90 minutes. After an introduction, the candidates go straight into the 1:1 conversations or receive a task to work on.
We ask applicants to prepare for the course and the screening session. The preparation material is on the respective course page.
The candidates have a 1:1 conversation with a teacher. The teachers have a questionnaire which guides the conversation.
The teacher gives their recommendation after the 1:1 conversation. The teacher can recommend the given course or propose a more beginner or advanced course.
