Letter to Parents from Sefton Council

On the advice of Sefton COuncil our Bubbles for when we do reopen (hopefully on 22nd June) are now full and unfortunately we do not have capacity to expand them. You may have also seen today on the news that schools will not be reopening up this term to Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5. Please be reassured that home learning will continue for these children and if you require any further support with that please don't hesitate to contact your class teacher. Please contact your teacher or Bubble leader with any queries you may have.

In September 2020 the DFE announced that schools would receive a top up funding grant to support a catch up programme for all pupils. Redgate will receive £16,880 to support our pupils this year as they missed so much schooling earlier in the year ( and many continue to suffer major disruption as pupils and staff frequently need to isolate keep our school community safe. ) The overview above highlights some of the ways we are using our catch up funding to support our pupils and raise attainment.
