FAQs
Can I join a different board or MLS?
Sadly, no. This is the only board and MLS in the area agents are allowed to join. If you are a member of another board or MLS, you will need to join the ones listed above. If you've already paid your yearly REALTOR® dues, you shouldn't have to repay your state or national dues.
Should I join as a primary or secondary member of the board?
Choose primary, if you are not a member of another board
Choose secondary, if you are a member of another board and plan to keep that board membership in addition to this one
Can I only join the board at a local level?
In order to join the local board you will be required to also join the state and national boards. You cannot just join the local board.
If I won’t be able to do deals why do I need to have MLS and REALTOR affiliation?
AAs must be fully affiliated with the board and MLS in addition to having their license be active and in good standing. This is a contractual requirement and we are not allowed to make exceptions. In order to access homes you need an MLS membership. Beyond that, Redfin is a member of NAR which means our agents need to be a member too. In order to have access to show homes they need to be a member of the MLS.
What if I don't get a DocuSign notice/email?
Check your spam folder. If it's not in there and it's been over two business days since you submitted the form, reach out to your CRC.
How do I sign a DocuSign?
Overall DocuSign is easy to use and is what you used to sign some paperwork during the recruitment process. The request from DocuSign will come to the email address you provide. If for some reason you cannot sign the document using your phone, please try a computer or tablet. See this DocuSign FAQ for help.
How will I get the completed document?
Once all parties have completed their parts you will get an email from DocuSign with the completed document. You can download this and submit per your state's guidelines. If you don't receive the completed document within three business days, reach out to licensing@redfin.com.
