Do you achieve high grades in school? Want to get involved in your community? Join NJHS! Students participate in service events both in school and in the community. Service opportunities arise throughout the school year. If you're a member, you must participate in two service events for the year.
Some examples of service events we have done in the past include:
Animal Shelter Visits
Car Wash
Door Decorating for Acceptance Week
Stockings for Soldiers
School-Wide Field Day with B+ Foundation
Adopt a Highway Road clean ups

Grades: 8th grade ONLY
How to Sign Up: Students with a 3.75 GPA or higher will be invited to APPLY at the end of their 7th grade year. Applicants must write a personal essay detailing how they will contribute to our program. From there, essays and discipline records are considered before acceptances are sent out. Students with more than two disciplinary referrals will not be accepted.
Deadline to Sign Up: Essays are due two weeks after invitations are sent out. Invitations are sent out during the spring of 7th grade.
When Does it Start: Students are in National Junior Honor Society for their entire 8th grade year. They are inducted into the chapter in the fall.
When Do You Meet: C day Activity Blocks.
