Inspirational Quote of the Day: “Kindness and politeness are not overrated at all. They’re underused.”– Tommy Lee Jones
Objective:How can we revise our model to represent the differences in the matter that goes into and comes out of the bath bomb system?
Standards:MS-PS1-1 Develop models to describe the atomic composition of simple molecules and extended structures.
MS-PS1-2 Analyze and interpret data on the properties of substances before and after the substances interact to determine if a chemical reaction has occurred
MS-PS1-5 Develop and use a model to describe how the total number of atoms does not change in a chemical reaction and thus mass is conserved.
MS-LS1-8 Gather and synthesize information that sensory receptors respond to stimuli by sending messages to the brain for immediate behavior or storage as memories
Warm-Up:
To Do List:
Check for Understanding: Norm Focused Reflection
Students will reflect on if they can answer the question: How can we revise our model to represent the differences in the matter that goes into and comes out of the bath bomb system?
Homework:
10/6/2025-10/16/2025 Marking Period 1
Students define areas to research for information
