Dynamic Lessons with Google Drawings

Google Drawings make for engaging and interactive lesson activities. During the session, you will create a matching activity to use with your students and explore the possibilities of what Drawings can do for you!

Example

Steps

  1. Open a new Drawing from Google Drive (NEW More Drawing)

  2. Name the Drawing file

  3. Add an image or graphic organizer

  4. Create answer space for the matching cards

  5. Resize the background space (if needed) and download as PNG

  6. Open another new Drawing from Google Drive

  7. Insert the PNG version of the first Drawing and move it to one side

  8. From the first Drawing, copy an answer space and paste it into the new Drawing for each answer

  9. Fill in the answers and stack them on the open side of your background

  10. Display on a SMARTBoard for practice in class or send a copy to each student using Google Classroom!
