Welcome to Library!
Students at Whitehouse School visit the library each week for 50 minutes of library instruction and exploration. Our library program is designed to foster a lifelong love of reading while helping students become confident, curious, and respectful library users.
Throughout the year, students will discover new authors and illustrators, explore a variety of genres, and enjoy engaging read-alouds and hands-on activities connected to books and literacy. Students will also learn important library skills, including how to locate books and resources, use the library responsibly, and properly care for our books and materials.
A strong emphasis is placed on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can develop creativity, curiosity, independence, and a joy for learning through stories and exploration.
