Welcome to 3rd Grade

HI! 

I’m Mrs. Yukniewicz!

I am so excited to be your third-grade teacher this year!  We are going to have an amazing year filled with learning, laughter, and fun!  Third grade is a special year because you will discover new things, take on exciting challenges, and grow as a student and friend.

Third grade is awesome!  This year we will work on multiplication and division, reading responses and research and will continue to strengthen our writing. You will also get to explore your passion when we do our Passion Projects!  We will celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and always try our best.

I also think it is very important to work together as a team.  We will be spending a lot of time together so it is essential that we treat each other with respect, kindness, and compassion.  I will help you grow as a learner and as a person of good character.  We will be practicing acts of kindness throughout the year!  

Do you want to know a little about me? I grew up in Readington and went to Whitehouse School when I was in third grade! I also currently live here and have a husband, 3 children, 2 dogs and 1 bunny!  When I’m not grading papers or planning lessons, you can find me watching my kids play softball and baseball!  

I can’t wait to meet you and your family!  We are going to have a great year!
