  • Follow a college-level curriculum with day-long studio classes, visits to the Nature Lab and RISD Museum, critiques and final projects that will forever shape the way you approach art and design.

  • PRE-COLLEGE June 25, 2022-August 5, 2022 This summer, live like a RISD student and work alongside hundreds of other creative, highly motivated students who will inspire you to push your limits and produce your best work.

  • Dates for our Summer 2022 Pre-College Programs are June 12-17, June 19-24 and June 26-July 1, 2022, with several programs offered multiple weeks. All students will live on campus to fully experience university life and the surrounding community. The program cost, which starts at $1,200, includes lodging, meals, course materials, activities and excursions. Programs follow COVID protocols and University community expectations, and offer a flexible cancellation policy.

    • Each of our programs give students the opportunity to explore a college major and test drive the college experience. Our programs have been creatively designed by a world-class Stevens faculty member who is an expert in their field. Our goal is to get your students thinking strategically about their future!   • For rising Juniors and Seniors. Applications are now open for Summer 2022 Pre-College programs at UMass Amherst! Our programs offer high school students an opportunity to explore their academic interests and experience life on a college campus. Both online and in-person programs are available, at UMass Amherst and at the UMass Mt. Ida campus in Newton, MA. Scholarship opportunities are available for students with financial need.

  • Carnegie Mellon’s Pre-College Programs mirror the undergraduate experience, giving rising juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore their interests and passions while receiving instruction from acclaimed Carnegie Mellon faculty and staff.

  • We offer 3, 4 and 6 week programs all beginning on July 5, 2022

  • Reminder; the application deadline for AI4All @ Carnegie Mellon, Computer Science Scholars, Summer Academy for Math and Science (SAMS), and all scholarship consideration is March 9, 2022. Please note: Letter(s) of Recommendation must be received in our online application in order to submit the application.

  • At Tufts, our Pre-College Programs offer ambitious high school students the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty and experience a rigorous academic environment at a leading higher education institution. Our amazing Pre-College team is looking forward to meeting you all for our in-person and virtual programming options this summer on our Boston-area Tufts Campuses.

  • Discover if the exciting career of veterinary medicine is right for you! Adventures in Veterinary Medicine (AVM) is a fun and engaging career exploration program that will give you a deeper understanding of the veterinary profession and the demands of veterinary school.

  • Two-week sessions offered in June–August; Day and residential sessions available.

  • BU’s long-running Summer Term pre-college offerings include a choice of one-, two-, three-, and six-week programs that prepare you for success in college. With five exciting and challenging pre-college summer programs to choose from, you can earn college credit, discover a new subject area, perform cutting-edge research in University labs, or immerse yourself in hands-on learning.

8a. Boston University - Academy of Media Production Program information and application here

  • This four-week workshop presents the opportunity to explore the many aspects of media production while developing the skills needed to be a successful storyteller.

  • AMP students learn the power of good writing and visual storytelling by creating videos, short films, webcasts, multi-camera productions, and more. This on-campus, live-in college program gives students the tools to pursue all facets of media production, while collaborating with like-minded students, making new friends, and having a life-changing summer experience in the heart of Boston.

9. University of Wisconsin-Madison Badger Pre-college Program information and application here

  • Badger Precollege welcomes students completing grades 9-12 to pursue their academic passions and meet new friends this summer. Courses this summer include Forensic Science (ALP program), Music, Art & Technology (Badger Precollege Online) and Human Language & Identity and Satellite Science & Programming for Meteorology (Badger Summer Scholars) — just to name a few!

  • Program registration closes on April 30.


  • In this program students will learn how to apply economic knowledge to affect social change. By the end of the program, students will have learned both basic and advanced economic concepts and have the ability to analyze current policy issues. All students who complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Bryant University Economics Department.

  • The program will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm, August 8th through August 12th. Students are responsible for their own transportation, however, all materials and breakfast and lunch will be included in the cost of tuition. The entire program costs $375 and there is no application fee.

12. Worcester Polytechnic Institute Program information and application here

  • In-Person

    • The Launch program for rising 9th and 10th grade students will leverage research and technology to find solutions to current problems in a variety of scientific fields alongside WPI’s renowned faculty. Students will be able to step in the shoes of a video game designer, computer programmer, crime scene investigator, or robotics engineer. Launch is offered as an overnight, residential program as well as a commuter program.

    • The Frontiers program, running for over 40 years, is a residential, overnight program for rising 11th and 12th grade students who want to explore STEM through a collegiate lens. Students will be challenged to explore the outer limits of their knowledge in STEM and explore unsolved global issues, along with a touch of humanities through another aspect such business entrepreneurship, digital painting, psychology, or other options.

  • On-Line

    • Frontiers for Credits is a pre-college program designed for rising 11th and 12th graders who are interested in earning college credit and experiencing an academically fulfilling college course. Students enroll in an WPI undergraduate course, lasting 5-weeks and taught by WPI’s world-renowned faculty. ​Upon completion, students receive an official college transcript.

  • You can choose between attending our Summer School on campus or online.

  • Choice from 10 different labs for the on-campus edition or 6 labs for the online edition: select 2 subjects (all taught in English) to pursue your areas of interest or try out something new.


  • You'll choose from three- or six-week undergraduate courses, in which you'll earn transferrable credits in subjects from architecture to business, hospitality, engineering, health, international relations, science, social change, veterinary medicine, arts and more. Courses are taught by Cornell faculty .

  • Babson Summer Study is a 4-week experiential online program for rising high school juniors and seniors to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and become innovators and changemakers. By strengthening your understanding of the United Nation's Global Goals, you will develop the competencies and confidence to address problems, seize opportunities, and create change that leads to your desired future. While you work with peers from around the globe, you will develop power skills that allow you to enroll others in your vision, confidently master difficult topics, and embrace other points of view all while earning 4 college credits from Babson

  • Georgetown’s Summer High School Programs offer an immersive learning experience that prepares you with the tools needed for college success. Ranging in length from one to eight weeks, our programs span a wide range of subjects, covering everything from forensic science and politics to creative writing and data science.   • Adelphi’s Summer Pre-College Program is open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school. Scheduled to take place from July 17 through August 12, 2022, this summer’s program features an updated curriculum that will allow students to explore an academic area of interest while discovering all that the Adelphi University has to offer.   • Program dates: Session 1: July 9 - July 15, 2022 and Session 2: July 17 - July 23, 2022

  • Deadline May 1, 2022

  • Dive deeply into a specific academic topic, engage in hands-on learning activities, and forge relationships with influential Miami faculty members and experienced professionals in your field of interest.

  • Gain a significant advantage in the college admission process by attending valuable seminars with admission experts.

22. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Program Information and application here

  • Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is preparing for a summer filled with on-campus and at-home programs that allow high school students to explore their interests in science, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as well as build college preparedness and competitiveness.

  • Rose Power - This program for girls currently in ninth grade will allow them to explore STEM as a career and expose them to women role models. Students will spend six days on campus. By the end of the week, there won’t be a tool or machine they haven’t conquered.

      • This year’s program is planned June 26-July 1; Cost: $1,450.

  • Operation Catapult - High school juniors or seniors can explore areas of robotics, chemistry and computer programming; make electronic and mechanical machines from scratch; work with state-of-the-art equipment and laboratories; and learn how to communicate their projects to family and friends.

      • Session I: June 7-17

      • Session II: June 21-July 1

      • Session III: July 12-22

      • Cost: $2,500

  • Project Select - This is an immersive, hands-on science and engineering camp for high school students after their freshman or sophomore years. Students will build upon their existing science and mathematics knowledge and connect it to modern engineering applications. They will also explore how science can be applied to solve difficult problems and test their designs using state-of-the-art equipment.

      • Session I: July 10-16

      • Session II: July 17-23

      • Cost: $1,450

  • Creation Crates - is an experimental engineering design-at-home program for high school students who have completed their sophomore or junior years. A kit of materials will be delivered to each camper’s doorstep, and they will work directly with a Rose-Hulman mechanical engineering faculty mentor online for four hours daily to design, build and test a series of experimental apparatuses,

      • Creation Crates dates: July 25-29

      • Cost: $500

  • Rose Accelerate - Students in grades 11-12 and eligible first-year college students can expand their knowledge by taking core college coursework online this summer and earn credits toward their Rose-Hulman degree.
