Program Management

Program Assessment

Goal: Estimate the effort in training and supporting 80-300 staff in transitioning to a more effective process that produces the right products sooner, while meeting regulatory and quality standards.

Example Transformation Plan
· 8xTeam Launch REV-Up (for each team up to 11 people)
· 5xStory Writing REV-Up (for each business area)
· 1xBacklog Refinement REV-Up for all team leaders (SMs, POs, PMs, BAs, etc.)
· 1xStory Splitting REV-Up for all story authors (POs, PMs, BAs, etc.)
· 1xDoD & DoR REV-Up for all SMs
· 1xRelease Planning REV-Up for the entire IT organization and key business sponsors

Subscribers who are motivated self-learners don’t need as many REV-Ups in the transformation; organizational changes, leadership misalignment, and unclear organizational priorities increase the cost and schedule of the transformation.

The Regulatory/Security/Architecture Role REV-Up
