Home- School communication
Welcome to grade four and five! We're off to a great start this year and looking forward to lots of exciting learning opportunities. The purpose of my Teacher Page is to keep you better informed about the curriculum we are covering, class procedures, different assignments, and happenings that only affect our class . Excellent home-school communication is critical for a successful and happy school year! I aim to be easily available to you throughout the year, should you have any questions or concerns. Here are a number of ways yo stay connected:
The remind text messaging app allows me to send important information to your cell phone or home computer. I use this app throughout the year to keep you informed of special events, schedule changes, or important due dates. Once you have signed up, you will receive these message to your phone. This service also allows for private text messages to be sent between you and I. Many parents use this tool to update me about absences, appointments or to ask any questions that arise. To join my remind account please send a text message that says @45nye to the number (587) -802-0588
If you use twitter you can follow my classroom account! I try to tweet about whats going on in the classroom. My twitter name is @MmeNye_
