Welcome to the St. Patrick's Community School Counselling website!

The purpose of this website is to help assist parents, students, and family members with resources and information you may find beneficial to aiding in mental, emotional, and physical well being.

Feel free to browse this site and make use of any of the tools you may find useful for you or your child. If you feel your child would benefit from the support of a counsellor, St. Patrick's is privileged to have two school counsellors and a family school enhancement counsellor on the team. The team is always taking referrals and can be contacted via school email.

Mrs. Koopmans - School Counsellor

Mrs. Koopmans is a school counsellor and also teaches Language Arts 9 at St. Patrick's School. She moved to Red Deer three years ago with her husband and two children.

Mrs. Koopmans loves to cook, bake, read and travel. She loves being creative and is always looking for new hobbies to try out.

Mrs. Dixon - School Counsellor

Mrs. Dixon is a school counsellor and also teachers Language Arts 5 at St. Patrick's School. She has lived in different communities in Central Alberta for 23 years, most recently in Red Deer with her husband and three children.

Mrs. Dixon loves to read, spend time with her family, and discover unique foods and activities in Central Alberta.

Shelley Sauter - Family School Enhancement Counsellor

Mrs. Sauter is a Family School Enhancement Counsellor at St. Patrick's Community School. She has lived in Innisfail for the past 25 years with her husband and 2 children.

Mrs. Sauter loves to spend time with her family playing cards and sitting by the fire. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and yoga. Stop by her office to get your ZEN on!
