Curling is a sport where you push heavy stones across ice very slowly while your teammates yell and sweep furiously in front of them. It’s often described as “chess on ice,” except the chess pieces are 40-pound rocks and there’s more yelling.
No experience necessary, though a tolerance for cold feet and long games is helpful. Perfect for those who enjoy low-impact cardio, niche sports, and slippery floors.
Bring warm socks. Enthusiasm optional.
