My name is Amanda Willis. I am the Instructional Technology Facilitator at R-S Central High School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in History from Mars Hill University in 2010. I taught high school social studies for four years. I am currently in my sixth year with Rutherford County Schools.
In 2010 R-S Central participated in a district launch of the Going Global initiative. This allowed each student to have access to MacBook Air laptop computers for instructional purposes at school and home. My goal as an Instructional Technology Facilitator is to help facilitate the use of 21st Century skills in the classroom in the hopes of preparing students for life in the ever growing technology world.
