Hardware Issues

Possible Solutions

1. Ensure the laptop is plugged in
2. Try plugging the charger into a different outlet in the room
3. See if there is anything stuck in the computes charging port or in the end of the charger
4. Try resetting the SMC by following the instructions below (THIS WILL TURN OFF YOUR LAPTOP!!!)

Resetting the SMC

1. Plug your laptop in
2. Hold down the following keys: left shift, control, left option (picture below)
3. While holding these keys press the power button and your laptop should turn off immediately off if it was not before
4. Try to turn your laptop back on
