ALGEBRA II REGENTS DESCRIPTION:

This course is the final course of the three units of credit required for a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. Students will develop conceptual understandings and skills in topics such as polynomial functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, probability, and statistics. Students will engage in rigorous learning experiences to make sense of mathematics while employing the Standards for Mathematical Practice. After this course, students will take Algebra II regents and will be prepared to take Pre-Calculus or AP Statistics.
