Seesaw is a digital student portfolio that encourages educators, students, and families to share in the thinking and learning experience together. It gives families a window into what's going on every day in their child's classroom.
Learners login to a digital portfolio using the provided code or link. Think of this portfolio like a binder with tabs, but all located and stored digitally. There, they can access their personal journal or teacher assigned activities and use tools like photos, drawing, videos, or notes to share their thinking and learning.

You’re in control of how often you're notified about new information in Seesaw. Here are your options in the Seesaw Family account:

Seesaw is free for families. Family members can access their child’s active classes in the Seesaw app or website. Once the class is archived, family members can download a .zip archive of their child’s work for free, which they can save to their computer so they can access their child's files anytime.

If you have a new email address, your school has changed domains, or you have made a typo when entering your email address, please follow the instructions below to change the email address associated with your account:
1. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner.
2. Tap the Gear icon.
3. Tap Account Settings and select your email address to edit.
If you originally signed up with a Google account, but now want to use a different email address for your Seesaw account, here’s how:
Set a password on your account. Send a password reset email using the Forgot Password tool.
Check your email and click the link in the Forgot Password email to set a password.
Once you’ve set a password, you can change your email address. Tap your profile icon in the top left and tap the Gear icon.
Tap Account Settings and select your email address to edit. You’ll need to re-enter your new password to change your email.
If you are unable to receive the password reset email, please fill out this form and provide an image of a valid photo ID that matches the name on your account. We ask for an image of a valid ID as an added security precaution. We will not store your ID and you are welcome to block out sensitive information from the image.
If you originally signed up with a Google account, but now want to sign in using an email and password instead of Google sign in with the SAME email address, here’s how:
Send a password reset email using the Forgot Password tool.
Check your email and click the link in the password reset email to set a password.
Sign in with your email address and new password.
Seesaw accounts can only use one email address at a time, and accounts cannot be merged.
If you are a family account, please have each family member sign up with separate email addresses, and use the same QR code or email link up to 10 family accounts to a single child/class.

If you're having trouble uploading photos and videos to Seesaw, first check your internet connection. Content cannot be saved to Seesaw without an internet connection.
If you have an internet connection, Seesaw uploads are most likely being blocked by the firewall, VPN or network filter installed on your device. If you're using a device from your school, contact district technology support using the support ticket form.

Printing: Teachers, students and families can print any post or assignment by tapping the [...] and choosing Print.
Speech to Text or Dictation: Speech to text or dictation features are supported.
Screen Readers: Screen readers are supported on the web.
Color Contrast, Inverting Colors and Font Size: Basic accessibility features built into the OS or browser for color contrast, inverting colors and font size are supported. There are a few reasons why you may be having trouble scanning your child's QR code. Find the most common causes and troubleshooting steps below:
1. Check that you have a valid Family invite from your child's teacher. The invite should have your child's name at the top, a list of instructions for connecting and a QR code.
2. Make sure that you have downloaded the Seesaw Family app. The Seesaw Class app is for teacher and student sign in only. The family invite QR code will not work on the class app.
3. If your QR code has been damaged (low ink, torn paper, code cut off) it will not scan properly. In this case, you can either ask the teacher for a new copy or type the URL at the bottom of the invite into any web browser. This is an alternative way to get access to your child’s journal.
4. Make sure you hold your QR code far enough away from your camera so that the entire image can scan. Holding the QR code too close to the camera will not allow the camera to properly read the QR code.
