Redwood City Mandarin Immersion Scholars
Redwood City Mandarin Immersion Scholars (RCMIS) is dedicated to raising money for the Mandarin Immersion program in the Redwood City School District. As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are governed by a board of directors, which is elected annually. We are a community of Mandarin Immersion parents and other supporters and we fund Mandarin-speaking classroom aides, Mandarin reading specialists as well as Mandarin instructional coaching.
Our tax-ID number is EIN: 82-3449819.

Spring 2024 Update
RCMIS has launched the 2024 Year of the Dragon Drive. Help us meet our goal.
100% of your donation goes to supporting:
A Mandarin Reading Intervention Specialist, a specialized resource for Chinese reading
Mandarin-Speaking Teacher’s Aide supporting mandarin fluency across all grades
Mandarin Immersion Teacher Coaching
Essential to developing effective curriculum
Responsible for content development, coaching, data collection
To support these staff, we’ve set up this campaign with a goal of $180,000.
With your help, RCMIS can continue to support the world-class mandarin learning experience at Orion.
Please help if you can. Every donation makes a difference.
RCMIS is also actively seeking board members to join the organization and shape the scope and future fundraising efforts for the 2024-2025 school year. Please reach out to info@rcmis.org if you are interested.
