What is Securly?

Securly Classroom is a powerfully simple classroom management solution to help teachers engage every student and lead with confidence while ensuring Chromebook activity is being monitored and student safety prioritized.

How does it work for me?

There are many different tools and features to promote student learning and engagement! Here are a few tools Securly offers:

See Student Screens: Monitor each student's device screen during class.

Push Resources: Quickly push web pages to students' devices.

Lock Screens: Disable student devices, then release individual students or the whole class.

Control Tabs and Apps: Close tabs and windows on student devices.

Screen Share: Share a tab or your screen with your class.

Site Lock: Lock students to a set of specific websites.

Make Announcements: Send a message to all students that they must acknowledge.

Chat with Students: Communicate 1-on-1 with students and maintain logs.

Raise Hands: Give students the ability to get your attention or ask for help.

History: View a record of all student browsing during or after class.

Class Summaries: Receive an informative email after class with useful stats.

Starting Securly Classroom

Securly Classrooms are populated through Google Classroom rosters. Starting a classroom is easy! Just click on the class desired and begin the session!

Interested in a Block List?

Block lists make sure students are not able to access sites that may distract them from learning! Teachers can create personal block lists for their classrooms or create shared block lists with others! Check out this video to learn more!
