Want it to give specific feedback on student work? Give it the prompt, "Analyze this student's essay on the French Revolution. Identify 3 key strengths and 3 areas for improvement. Suggest 2 specific strategies the student can use to strengthen their arguments," and off you go! Want to add more student context? Don't forget to tell it, "This student typically struggles with essay structure. Can you suggest specific feedback that addresses this issue, such as a checklist for essay organization?" and your feedback is now more personalized, targeting what you know about the student and their goals. 👏
