This website is meant to be a resource for our instrumental music students and families. You will find all the information needed to start this school year. This website also will be used to communicate announcements, lessons, and events. There are also supplemental videos and information for students and families to refer to at home.Â
Hello! My name is Ms. Vuong and I am the 5th grade band teacher here at Washington Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. Email: svuong@rbusd.org
Samantha Vuong recently received her teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton and is now in her second year of teaching. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from CSUF in May 2020. In addition to teaching band, she also teaches private violin lessons in her spare time since 2018. She started playing violin at the age of 10 and developed a love for the instrument after playing for the first time in a youth orchestra. While her main instrument is violin, she is also well versed in wind instruments. She hopes to share her excitement of music with all 5th grade students.
