Kathleen Balaban

Kathleen began her student broadcasting pathway in 7th grade with AMS news. She now begins her 6th year in student broadcasting. Stepping down from the position of Technical Director she is pursuing new routes while ending her senior year. With all the knowledge she has gained with RUTV and AMS news, Balaban intends to use it while creating short films. She has already won first place in the national PTA reflections contest with her film Metamorphoses. And intends to submit for the 2024 year. Balaban's interests extend outside of RUTV and into area's such as writing, hiking, and camping.
