Your heart is full of troubles and fears
That have affected your heart over the course of years.
I have a different idea for you today
A special place for you and I to roam.
A thousand people have walked past these trees.
But today, it is ours, and ours alone, along the sweet spring breeze.
Cherry blossoms have begun to bloom.
Maybe your troubles will fade if the trees are pretty enough.
Simple words and phrases are enough to put you at ease.
Maybe things are better when we stay by these trees?
The wind is lively, the sun is warm, and your laughter is contagious.
Your smile is a virus that I wouldn't mind catching.
If I let my pride sink, and let my guard down
Maybe, just maybe, I can show you around.
My heart says that would be nice, but my instincts are stubborn.
I can't hope to melt your troubles, so these trees will have to make do.
A cherry blossom falls to the ground in a graceful pattern.
It cascades and twirls, accepting its fate with the rest of the flowers scattered.
We both are moving from the movement of our own strings.
Will we fall gracefully or face-first?
One step in front of the other, one step at a time
A walk with you should be a victimless crime.
If feelings are trees, and emotions are flowers,
How can we ever make sense of our thoughts?
If flowers can fly, and trees can move
Then I guess people can try
And I can try to think clearly with you.
