Years of work dulled his mind.
His brain filled with hopelessness and gloom,
When he felt that his tiring summer shift would be over,
He would drive down south to find himself again,
Where he would find life, instead of dread,
He wished to drive in the empty roads with green cone trees covering the highway
He lived for the smell of mother nature,
The fresh sharp, citrusy scent that fills his nostrils, makes him crave more
He smelled that,
But he wished to see the cotton candy clouds mixed with mango skies
And the birds would migrate from place to place to find joy just as he desired,
Chirp after chirp would usually annoy him,
instead he enjoyed the sounds of mother nature,
He would arrive to his paradise,
He would step on the millions of silver and tan pebbles,
Through tears of joy that he’s alone in his desired world,
The silence that is not possible with people around.
The cold autumn rivers craved his fragile body,
just as he would crave the flow of the crystal colored waters,
And once he would float in the silver blue waters,
he swore he would never go to the place of his past
