GRADE I - SCIENCE

“If nothing ever changed, there would be no such things as butterflies.” — Wendy Mass, The Candymakers

With this thought in mind the learners of Grade 1 created a beautiful project on the

life cycle of a butterfly using the resources available at home.

The process of metamorphosis relates in many ways with our own moments of transformation. It teaches us many good things like - Change is good, Some of the most beautiful things in life come from unsuspecting situations, Sometimes we have to let the old go so that the new can come and many more.

GRADE IV - MARATHI

GRADE VI - ASSEMBLY ACTIVITY

IKIGAI is a tradition followed by Okinawa people in Japan . IKI - means life and GAI - means the realisation of hope and expectation . This is a secret shared by the Okinawa people to live a longer life. The Okinawa people are said to have the highest life expectancy. To enhance the knowledge, learners of Grade 6A read the book IKIGAI and performed a very informative assembly on it.

GRADE VIII - CHEMISTRY

The students were divided into 4 groups to plan laboratory activities on Reactivity of metals, Rate of reaction and Endothermic and exothermic reactions. Learners worked on distribution of work to each member of the group. They did guided research on the types of experiment they can easily perform in the laboratory.

They planned the experiments and discussed their planning with the teacher. Special attention was given on expected hazards and the precautionary measures to avoid them. Next day they produced their requirements (both chemicals and apparatus). The lab was set accordingly and the students performed the experiments and noted down their observations. They made a final presentation sheet where they wrote their planning. All learners submitted their papers on time.

WORLD RADIO DAY

'You want music or you want news, you want information or you want knowledge. Everything is available on the radio.'

Radio continues to be one of the most trusted and accessible media in the world. Radio is uniquely positioned to bring communities together and foster positive dialogue for change.

To share the love for radios and honour them, RBKIS celebrated Radio Jockey Day where Learners from Grade 1- 9 became RJ and spoke about different topics, shared their views about weather, traffic updates and also played different songs for their listeners. It was an opportunity for them to showcase their speaking skills by being a Radio Jockey (RJ).

Our little RJ's developed voice modulation, clear pronunciation, language fluency and good sense of humour.
