Vocational Education - Artificial Intelligence
“The real question is, when will we draft an artificial intelligence bill of rights? What will that consist of? And who will get to decide that?”
—Gray Scott
E0 was the first bipedal Robot that walked on Earth and ASIMO belongs to the same family. ASIMO, Xin Xiaomeng, Qiu Hao, Sophia are names familiar in the World of Artificial Intelligence. Qiu Hao and Xin Xiaomeng are Computer-programmed newsreaders. Yes! they are Robots. Sophia is the first Robot to have a citizenship of a nation.
Students at RBK Global School have taken the first leap towards Artificial Intelligence [AI], and that is Learning about AI. From drawing pictures in AutoDraw to make a computer follow your movements and gestures, our students have tried their best in the course.
What is AI? What is machine learning? How is it beneficial for us? What are the applications of AI? What are the dangers? Well, you do not have to search on the internet. Our students have all the answers.
As a primary task and to get the first-hand experience, students were taught to use Scroobly.com that helps them to create fun animations. Scroobly is a creative tool that runs on AI. It allows the students to create their own doodle and then sync it with their heads, hands, and body. Thus making the doodles simply copy the movements and gestures.

Students used Emoji Scavenger Hunt which again reinforces machine learning. In this activity, the device interacts with the students by identifying objects. This program uses the Neural network to try guessing what it sees.
Learners are motivated to explore -
How Alexa or Siri responds to our questions or plays the music we wish to listen to?
How our smartphones get unlocked with our face?
How does Google Maps direct us with such precision?
Discussions about the impact and applications of AI in various areas like healthcare, transport, education, robotics, research and so on have assured us that our students are growing as responsible and evolving citizens in this evolving digital world.
