Our National Flag
Have you ever wondered why do our heart swell with pride, at the sight of our National Flag flying?
Why does it create such ripple of emotions, that too quite inexpressible?
All the words seem insufficient to convey that passion, one feel towards our flag.
It is all because our flag doesn't fly of wind but it flies with the last breath of a lot of people who died protecting it.
" They loved their country
They loved it till the very last breath
They proved us the love
For country is eternal
They kept country ahead of family
They will always be remembered"
We as citizen of free India shoulders the responsibility to pass on the allegiance and esteem for the nation to the future generations, by setting an example ourselves. Imbibing these qualities requires one to comprehend what a nation means to each one of us. We need to relate ourselves to the great stories of the Indian Freedom Struggle and acquire better understanding of the true value of the freedom we enjoy today.

Book Review
BOOK : THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA
AUTHOR : AMISH TRIPATHI
PUBLICATIONS : WESTLAND PRESS
IT IS A FICTIONAL BOOK
The book narrates the story of a tribal chief who was elevated to the status of God by the people of India due to a long awaited prophecy. The book tries to find the answer to a philosophical question - "What is Evil?"
It is set in 1900 BC, The once proud empire and its Suryavanshi rulers face severe perils as its primary river, the revered Saraswati, is slowly getting extinct. They also face devastating terrorist attacks from the east, the land of the Chandravanshis .The only hope for the Suryavanshis is an ancient legend – ‘when evil reaches epic proportions, when all seems lost, when it appears that your enemies have triumphed, a hero will emerge’.
If you like to know more about mythology and want to know how God looks in human form. This book is very gripping and full of adventure and suspense. It deals with the basic idea about Lord Shiva that how his karma leads him to the great lords worshipped by millions of people.
This book reflects on the importance of karma, how karma can change one’s life whether positively or negatively. It is different from all fantasies or mysterious books, not philosophical but it gives the correct view of life. It teaches you the truth of life.

Marvel
Small drops trickled on the leaf
As I leaned, to wipe it off
Where did it go?
And, you didn’t believe me !!
I went in search of it in the skies.
Where did it go?
Drained and depleted,
I sat under a tree.
Hope is nowhere found
Why heave me further?
Hanging on to the tag end,
On what desire?
A drop fell on my cheek
That jerked me up!
And there comes the rest
Grin of phoenix around!!
As I glanced at the sky
Each droplets racing other
Hurried ahead by passing breeze
As it fell on the nearby bush
Oh! I remember,
Just the same place
Reminded me all over again
The Daydreamer in me!!
Strange isn't it?
Seems like a transformer
when the dry soil just got a shower
As always, I marvel!!
" The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it"
