There aren't a lot of well known bands that are from Indiana, however there are some and many of those are very good. Here I will show you 5 great bands that are from Indiana.
The Zero Boys
Zero BoysÂ
The Zero Boys are a punk band from Indianapolis who formed in 1980 With Paul Mahern on vocals, Dave Lawson on guitar, Mark Cutsinger on drums and Scott Kellogg on bass. They have 4 albums and 1 EP however their most successful album is Vicious Circle the most popular songs are Civilizations Dying and Vicious Circle.
HoundMouth
Houndmouth is a rock band with a lot of alternative blues influences who formed in 2011. The members are Matt Myers on guitar, vocals, Caleb Hickman on keyboard, vocals, Zak Appleby on bass, vocals, and Shane Cody on drums, vocals. They have four albums. Riley Anspaugh, a teacher at EJHS says “the original lineup isn’t together anymore which is kind of sad,” and that he thinks the singers all sound amazing together.

Burn It Down
Burn it down is a metalcore band who formed in 1997. Their current lineup is Jason McCash on bass, Ryan J. Downey on vocals, John Zeps on guitar and Brian "Bob" Fouts on drums. They have 3 albums and 2 EPs however they didn’t last long as their last show was in 2001 they then got back together to play one last show in 2005.
The Jackson 5
The Jackson 5 are a pop band who formed in 1964 and they might be the most popular on this list. The original lineup is Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael all with the last name Jackson. They have 47 albums (yeah they actually have that much). They are still alive but they haven't made music in a long time.Â

The Contortionist
The Contortionist
The Contortionist are a prog metal band who formed in 2007. They have released 4 albums and 3 EPs. Their lineup is guitarists Robby Baca and Cameron Maynard, drummer Joey Baca, vocalist Mike Lessard, bassist Jordan Eberhardt, and keyboardist Eric Guenther. They are also very popular with a LOT of monthly listeners in spotify.
These are all great bands that you can check out if you want to hear some bands that are from Indiana. Even if you don’t like music that much it could still be interesting to her people who are from where you live.
