Hi! My name is Heidi Segars. I am a recent Ravenscroft alumna (Class of '22). Two summers ago, I ran a science camp for local elementary schoolers with the hope of giving kids an opportunity to continue hands-on learning during the pandemic. The camp was a huge success, so I wanted to share some of the camp's experiments with the Ravenscroft community as my Senior Project.

Nearly all of these activities only use common household materials, so they are easy for you to do as well! (Some require additional materials beyond what you probably have available at home, but I included links to easily order them.) And these experiments are perfect for scientists of all ages! Each experiment has a different tab on this website, which contains the necessary background, materials, procedure, activities, and ideas for further research.
