Hello everyone! My English name is Bessie, and My Chinese name is Hai Bei Shi. Hai is the ocean, Bei is the bud, and Shi is the poem. I am in the tenth grade at Raven School. I am sixteen years old. There are four people in my family; mom, dad, a brother, and me. I also have a dog. I like sports, and my favorite sport is swimming. I go swimming every day. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is north of South Carolina. I was born in England but I grew up in Singapore. I will take AP Chinese class next year. I like Chinese class because I think it is important and my classmates are very interesting.
