FirsT Grade

Welcome to First Grade! 


I am so excited for the 2023-2024 school year! This will be my 12th year teaching, and my first year teaching 1st Grade.  I previously taught French to grades 4-12 in Vermont, Pennsylvania, and New York. I first started working at RLRS in 2011 as an Ed Tech alongside "Mrs. L” in Kindergarten. Working and spending time with her encouraged me to pursue my longtime interest in Elementary Education. I took a hiatus to raise my children and returned last year as a long-term substitute in 1st grade. After completing the substitute assignment, I became a Title I Ed Tech as an academic interventionist. 


In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, and exploring this beautiful area of Maine.  


Each week I will send home a newsletter to share what we are learning in class. I will also be adding to this site throughout the year.
