Confidential Support Resources for Georgia College Students
Confidential Support Resources for Georgia College Students
This handout provides confidential resources for students at Georgia colleges who may be impacted by
sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, or harassment. These resources are available as an alternative to reporting to Title IX or law enforcement.
*Disclaimer: This handout is meant as a starting point for helpful information and resources, but it is not exhaustive. Resources may change or be omitted, so users are encouraged to do their own research and use judgment in finding the most up-to-date and relevant support. The Red Zone refers to the period between the start of the school year and Thanksgiving break when college students, especially first-year women, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC students are at a higher risk of sexual assault and harassment.
It’s the time when new students are adjusting to campus life, navigating independence, forming new social circles, and may not yet know about available resources or how to stay safe.
