Rainbow is the award winning, 2018 Burlesque Idol Australia Ambassador. Described as a "sparkly canon of chaos" and 'tequila shot of debauchery", Rainbow brings hope that the troubles of today will surely come to pass… or at the very least you will forget your troubles for 3 minutes 30 seconds while being subjected to some vigorous burlesque action by a woman who got distracted on her way to Vegas.
Rainbow by name and nature this full bloomed, technicolour rose burst upon the beige capital of Australia in a riot of colour, feathers and YMCA pounding; and Canberra hasn’t quite been the same since.
Classically trained she stumbled across burlesque while attempting to find a fitness class with pizzazz (and jazz hands). Since then she has grown as a performer developing skills with feather and silk fans and is a renowned "asseler".
Since being voted by the audience as runner up in 2016 Burlesque Idol Canberra, Rainbow has disrobed her way across venues in Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Townsville, Mackay and Wollongong performing in the Australian Burlesque Festival (2017), Adelaide Fringe Festival (2018), The BOLD Festival (2017), Red Light Confidential (2017), Highbrow at the Lobrow (2017), This is Burlesque (2017), AbFab Party with Tammy Paks (2017), Alice in Wonderland Party with Jazida (2017), Strictly Science (ACT Science Week, 2017), Secret Soiree (2016), Like a Virgin (2016) and the Comedy Burlesque Hour (2017) among others.
