Royal Air Force Club
Fundraiser 2023
The RAF Club's Staff Cycle & Abseil for London's Air Ambulance
Five of our amazing Royal Air Force Club staff have committed to cycle 55 miles in the London to Brighton cycle race this year in aid of London's Air Ambulance on Sunday 10th September 2023. In addition our CEO Miles Pooley will abseil down from floor 17 of the Royal London Hospital on 14th September as part of the City CEO Helipad Abseil 2023.
The team chose to support this cause as London's Air Ambulance rely on public funding to provide desperately needed new helicopters to continue to deliver advanced trauma teams to London’s most seriously injured patients within the M25.
To maximise this team fundraiser we are inviting Club Members and additional staff to participate in a 12-hour Bikeathon in the Club Lobby on Friday 8th September. Please donate to the cause and sign up to cycle.

City CEO HELIPAD ABSEIL
RAF Club ceo Miles Pooley to Complete City CEO HELIPAD ABSEIL 2023
To boost the Clubs Fundraising efforts, Royal Air Force Club CEO Miles Pooley will join a team of fearless CEOs launching themselves from the highest rooftop helipad in Europe to add to the money raised for London's Air Ambulance.
On the 14th September, Miles Pooley will descend The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel from 17 floors up in addition to completing the London to Brighton cycle ride just 4 days prior. We have combined these Fundraising incentives to maximise the help we can provide for London's Air Ambulance.
