What is Cloud Hero?

It's a cloud and infrastructure game that challenges you to build an end-to-end application deployment experience using multiple GCP services, from GCS to GKE and Cloud Build.

This game has been played at Summits and Next events around the world. Now, we invite the entire developer community to play online for the first time, competing live against the Next'19 San Francisco onsite attendees.

Your score will be displayed on the global leaderboard and your performance will be recognized internationally.

Online winners

  • Top 3 players in each game session will receive 100 Qwiklabs credits

Cloud Hero @Next - Terms & Conditions

The Cloud Hero Online Classic Challenge is a DevOps gaming experience on Qwiklabs, a Google Cloud training platform. By participating in the game, you’ll join an online challenge where you will race to finish a series of cloud-based tasks using Google Cloud. All participants will receive 50 free Qwiklabs credits and their first month free on Google Cloud Platform Training on Coursera.

The first three people that finish the Cloud Hero Classic Lab online challenge in the Qwiklabs platform during their session slot on Tuesday, April 9 from 5pm - 11pm PDT will receive 100 extra Qwiklabs credits (150 total). Each person can play only once and the prizes are limited to one per person.

Please ensure that accepting this offer complies with your organization’s own Code of Conduct. Government employees may not enter. Participant may not enter this challenge if such entry would be prohibited by applicable US trade sanctions programs. Winners will be notified by email within two weeks after the event.
