On July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 became the first manned space flight to land on the moon and the first people on the moon. The crew consisting of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, launched on the 16 of July and returned home on July 24th. 8 years after President John F.
