Class Description:
In this class, we will use the Roland Aira T8 synthesizer to experiment with sound and compose music that emulates the music of our favorite video games. We will also use Finrsi DSO TC3 Oscilloscopes to visualize the sound waves we are working with. This class is all about creativity and experimentation.
Beginner to Advanced Musicians Welcome.
No previous synthesis experience required.
New and returning students are welcome in this class.
Students submit a weekly recorded performance to our shared Google Drive and engage in discussions about each assignment. Guided instructions are provided after each class via a weekly email with an embedded video for students to follow.
